Am ersten Juni Wochenende fand in Portland wieder das jährliche Human Power Challenge Race statt. Passend dazu findet bei TerraCycle ein Tag der offenen Tür statt. TerraCycle Gründer Pat Franz hat uns dazu einen kleinen Bericht geschickt, den wir euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten wollen. Viel Spaß bei der (englischen) Lektüre:

Sandy Earle, the other woman doing solo RAAM this year, is in the purple shirt. The entire shop was this full for much of the time, and some people were outside enjoying a nice evening. The yellow idlers in the picture above the food are a team edition idler we did for the Bent Up Cycles team. The pink one is a version we did for Sandy Earle. There is also a Catrike 700 doing RAAM this year, so we will have 4 teams with TerraCycle idlers this year!

James Emmerson, the ZOX riding brewmaster of Full Sail Brewing provided a selection of very tasty beers. He studied brewing in Germany for several years before starting Full Sail. He has a TerraCycle 23T Ti and a TerraCycle return idler on his ZOX, of course.

The Open House is a chance for everyone to come and relax, talk bikes with friends, and see up close how things are made.
